This is Hardcore piano. Eric Lewis sets fire to the keys with his shattering rendition of Evanescence’s “Going Under.” I like the idea that this is as far as you can push a musical instrument. I’ve never seen anyone interact with a piano the way he does and I love the brutal intertwining dark, harsh, soft and fragile.
